A note on Shopify: you can run an outside payment gateway instead of Shopify Payments, but Shopify applies its own third-party transaction fee on top when you do. Do I have to rebuild my website?
No. We connect a gateway to the WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Shopify store you already run. Your checkout stays in place; the payments route through your own ecommerce merchant account.
Can I keep Shopify?
Yes. You can use an outside gateway on Shopify instead of Shopify Payments, but Shopify charges its own third-party transaction fee when you do. We’ll show that fee next to your processing savings so you can judge the trade honestly. (As of October 2026 — [verify].) Shopify’s third-party providers page has the current terms.
What does an ecommerce merchant account cost?
