Firearms · FFL gun stores
An FFL merchant account for gun stores, built for your real tickets.
An FFL merchant account built for a gun store takes counter sales, layaways, transfer fees and gun-show weekends on one account that is approved for how your shop actually runs. Next-day funding, plain-number pricing, and a direct line to a real person on our team.
One FFL merchant account
A countertop terminal or POS and a gun-show reader on the same FFL merchant account, approved for how your shop runs.
Big tickets, up front
Layaway, special-order deposits and an $1,800 pistol cleared before they ever run, so a busy Saturday is not a surprise.
A real person answers
Call our team and a real person picks up — not a call center or a ticket queue.
A gun store isn’t a typical retail account
One account that expects a $60 box of ammo and an $1,800 pistol in the same hour.
Your average sale might be $60 for a box of ammo or $1,800 for a pistol and optic, sometimes within the same hour. You take deposits on special orders and layaway payments, and you charge transfer fees. Some weekends you are at a gun show with a card reader on a folding table.
We set your FFL merchant account up for all of it. Your average ticket, your high ticket, your layaway and deposit practice, and your show schedule go into the application up front — so a normal busy Saturday does not look unusual to underwriting. That way a strong Saturday looks like your business, not an anomaly. See the firearms hub for how we handle the rest of the lane.

Gun store questions
Can I keep my current POS?
Often, yes. Tell us which system you use and we will confirm whether it connects to your new FFL merchant account. Supported systems: [supported POS list].
Can I use the same account at gun shows?
Yes, with a mobile reader on your account. Add the show schedule to your application so out-of-store sales are expected and do not look unusual to underwriting. Device options: [device and cost].
Do you handle layaway and special-order deposits?
Yes. List them on the application with your written policy so they are approved up front. That is one of the most common things that trips a gun-store account set up as plain retail.
What does it cost?
Interchange plus our markup of [your rate % + ¢], and a monthly fee of [$ monthly]. Send a statement and we will show the dollar difference against what you pay now. See pricing →
How fast do I get my money?
Batches closed by [cutoff time + time zone] are deposited the next business day. Next-day funding is included. How funding works →
